Square or cir-cular covers of very thin glass are therefore pro-vided; and a good supply of these should bealways on hand. These glasses should be keptin a covered dish filled with a mixture of alco-hol and water. Simple water will not removethe fatty matter which exists in all animal tis-sues, and, therefore, the glasses cannot be thor-oughly cleaned with it alone. 11. When glasses are required for use,they should be removed from the liquid andwiped clean and dry with a soft linen handker-chief.
