Description
English: Tapestr ymade in Antwerp by the Michiel Wauters manufacture in the mid-seventeenth century, based on cartoons by Abraham van Diepenbeek (1596-1675), a multifaceted Flemish artist in contact with the followers of Peter Paul Rubens. The tapestries depict episodes from the Life of Semiramis, the legendary queen of Babylon.
