Description
English: Three pieces from the first Hungarian film "A táncz" (The Dance) saved from fire. During the development of film, a fire broke out in the cinematographic laboratory on April 3, 1901, destroying the scenes shot until then. The three scenes show "ancient Greek dance", "palotás" and "satirical csárdás".
Français : Trois morceaux du premier film hongrois « A táncz » (La Danse) sauvé du feu. Pendant le développement des pellicules un incendie s'est déclaré dans le laboratoire cinématographique le 3 avril 1901, détruisant les scènes tournées jusque-là. Les trois scènes montrent la « danse grecque antique », la « palotás » et la « csárdás » satirique.
Magyar: A táncz című első magyar film tűzből kimentett három filmszalag-részlete. A felvételek kidolgozása közben 1901. április 3-án tűz ütött ki a filmlaboratóriumban, elpusztítva az addig leforgatott jeleneteket. A három filmdarabon ógörög tánc, palotás és szatirikus csárdás látható.
