A spindle whorl, dating to the 15th/ 16th century AD.
Description
English: An complete cast lead alloy spindle whorl, dating to the 15th/ 16th century AD (diameter: 32.3mm; thickness: 8.7mm; weight: 32.41g). A bi-conical artefact with a drilled central and circular hole (diameter: 10mm) and decoration on both sides in the form of a single curved petal-like ridged line with pellets in each of the curved encaves. the artefact is in a worn and poorr condition.
