Description
English: A solitary Canada goose. Canada geese (Branta canadensis) can commonly be seen around lakes, gravel pits and town parks where they are often regarded as a nuisance. They are large geese, with a distinctive black head and neck and a large white throat patch. The species originates from North America. The animal depicted here appears to be the only one populating a pond in a pasture adjoining Eade's Mill > 1254854. See > 1254979 for a wider view of the location.
