Description
English: A German sniper's post in the outskirts of Bapaume shown after the New Zealanders entered the town. Pictured is a tall brick building next to a damaged house with most of its roof blown off. A large pile of bricks spills into the road. Photograph taken late August 1918 by Henry Armytage Sanders.
