English: Fleuron from book:
A short and easy introduction to heraldry. In two parts. Part I. A concise Dictionary of all the most Useful Technical Terms in the Science of Heraldry, with twenty-eight Copperplates, containing above eight hundred and eighty Examples, elegantly engraved. Part II. The Use of Arms and Armory, with Rules of Blazon and Marshalling Coat Armours, a Description of Tournaments, Croisades, Tombs, and Monuments. The Method of Sketching and Blazoning Arms, in Practice among Heralds, Herald-Painters, and Engravers. Likewise Hatchments so familiarly explained, that on the first View may be known what Branch of the Family is deceased. The whole is collected from the best Authorities, upon a new and regular Plan. Also Anappendix, Containing the Privileges of the Gentry and Yeomen of England, with An Account of the Garter, Bath, Thistle, and all the different Orders of Europe. By Hugh Clark and Thomas Wormull.
