English: A running track at Tinker AFB. Ok., sustained damage following a series of destructive tornadoes which slammed Oklahoma and Kansas on May 3, 1999. At Tinker, Reservists from Air Force Reserve Command's 507th Air Refueling Wing and 513th Air Control Group along with their active-duty counterparts joined search-and-rescue teams to search through rubble immediately after the storm past. Immediately after the storm had passed, 507th ARW members took a unit KC-135 out of its hangar to make room for survivors.
