| Description |
English: A resting place above the sea Things have not always been so peaceful. The Vikings and the Cromwellians, in turn, attacked the village and abused and degraded the ancient church, while the sea has been a constant threat to the cemetery. Before the building of new sea wall, storms often led to the disinterment of bodies, with bones being left scattered on the beach. |
