Description
English: A post medieval copper alloy trade token farthing dated AD 1590. The obverse is a common type for this period though no parallels can be found for the reverse, which is of a bearded face in profile protruding from a crescent moon with three stars to the right. Also, the double-headed eagle on the obverse is surmounted by a crown, which is uncommon for this type.

Dimensions: diameter: 22.62 mm; weight: 1.60g.
