The scanner bears the name "Somatom plus+". A box in front of the operators is marked "Quality drinking straws"

Observed at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Fulham Road, London. Two women operating the scanner sit behind a screen and speak instructions to the patient. They have two monitors in the control room to enable them to see the scans
