English: A Giant Traditional Chinese Painting
—100 meter long landscape painting to come out A 100 meter long landscape painting —— A trip to Hills and Lakes in Spring – has been completed by Mr. Chen Minglou, the general manager of Zhejiang Huate Environmental Protection Equip. Ind. Co. (www.huateep.com). Mr. Chen spent more than 18 months painting it in his spare time. The painting is 67cm high and 108 m long. In the magnificent painting, water and hills make a delightful contrast, and there is great harmony between human and nature. Mountains appear high enough to reach the clouds, or as rigid as cliff, or range upon range of hills… Water appears just like a waterfall falling down from a huge mountain, or like great waves fluctuating, or like a stream rippling… There are more than ten thousand people between the mountains and water, all lively, so it is also called Ten Thousand People Traveling in spring. Between the high mountains and flowing water and different people, there are more than three hundred pavilions, and no one is similar to another. In the whole landscape painting, no two pieces of water are alike, no two people are alike, and no pavilions are alike. The hard work of the painter, the layout, and the painting skill show that this is a work of art. What perfection! Mr. Chen engages in the cause of environmental protection, is very busy, and has achieved national recognition and won several awards, such as that of “national well-known technology entrepreneur”, “China’s outstanding environmental technology entrepreneur” etc. Such a huge work produced in his free time, without being given directions by a master hand, makes all sorts of feelings well up in our minds. The huge painting undoubtedly adds one more to the outstanding history of Chinese traditional painting. Now, we hope you will view the magnificent work and feel the glamour of the landscape. Mr. Chen Minglou will hold a personal art exhibition of his paintings in the near future in Hang Zhou, China, and the centerpiece of the exhibition is this 100 meter long landscape painting.
