er a földesurak és a városközött. Pesty János alkudozása a pásztói apátsággal. Midőn a Habsburgoknak a törököt sikerült Magyarországbólkiverni, az uralkodó család fegyverjog (ius armorum) czimén aföldesuraktól hatalmas összeget követelt. Ezt azután országszerteelosztották. A pásztói földesurakra 2000 r. frt esett. Pásztó város, a mint erről értesült, a 2000 r. frtot lefizette.S ezzel azt hitte, hogy semmiféle földesurat sem kell majd elis-mernie.^ Ezen felfogás következtében Pásztó városának sok baja letta földesuraival. Ezek ellen védelmet magánál O Felségénél kere-sett. Azt meg is nyerte. 1702. nov. 13-án a bécsi udvari kamaramaga keresi meg a magy. kir. udvari kamarát, hogy Pásztó várospolgárságát a földesurakkal szemben az ügy elintézéséig védelmezzeés jogukat a kir. ügyigazgató segítségével biztosítsa.- Zirczi ap. levt. : Act. abb. Pásztó földesurai arról panaszkodtak ü fekscge előtt, hogyembereik nekik nem engedelmeskednek. Ezért jelenik meg 1714.máj. 30-iki kelettel azon kir. rendelet, mely Heves-vármegyét uta-sítja, hogy a pásztói földesurak alattvalóit — ha kell — karhata-lommal is kényszerítsék engedelmességre.^ A pásztói földesurak ügyüket jobbágyaikkal szemben az1715-iki országgyűlés elé vitték, mivel ezek bizonyos kiváltsá-gokra hivatkozva, jobbágyi kötelezettségök alól kibújtak. Az ország-gyűlés a 95-ik törvényczikkben a földesurak jogának érvényesítésétmondja ki mindaddig, míg ezen ügyben a bíróság másként nem itél.^Erről Kalivoda Rajmund 1716. márcz. 15-én értesíti NezorinFlóriánt.
