English: Members of the 49th Maintenance Group crash recovery team hoist a German Air Force Tornado onto its final resting place at Heritage Park among other historical aircraft that have been flown at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., July 19. History was made Sept. 19, when a German Air Force static aircraft was unveiled in Heritage Park by Lt. Gen. Martin Schellis, GAF Flying Training Center commander and Col. Robert Kiebler, 49th Wing commander. The GAF Training Center and the Tornadoes are a significant part of military aviation operations in and around Holloman Air Force Base and the White Sands Missile Range.
