Three birds stand or walk on a wet sandy beach. On the left is a large cinnamon-colored sandpiper with a disproportionately long bill that curves downward. In the center is a smallish gull with a light gray back and a yellow bill with a black ring near the tip. On the right is a medium-large cinnamon-colored sandpiper with a pink bill with a black tip that curves slightly upward.

A long-billed curlew, a ring-billed gull, and a marbled godwit walk or stand on wet sand at Drakes Beach.
