| Description | This is more or less the place where that persistent old lady made her kill! Considering that she had followed me for over a kilometer, and she had no intention of backing off, (she might even follow me into the dining area and not let me eat, I thought), I finally decided to buy one shawl. Just one. Upon reflection, that was probably just as well, for did find myself sort of one when I was giving away gifts from China to my relatives in India. Oh well. The shawl was very beautiful and well done, and I probably needed it anyway, but the mercenary persistence is what really bugged me. (Longji Rice Terraces, near Guilin, China, May 2017) |
