Albeit we remain a handful of dust and life is a temporal enterprise, we recognize we have a resolute mission of resilience and empathy.

Description

"A handful of dust" , by Erik Pevernagie, oil on cardboard, 66 x 88 cm xxx

When we feel betrayed by the vagaries of life and our wet dreams turn out to be nightmares, let us keep our eyes wide open and look for the sparks in people's glances. They can share a shard of oxytocin and inspire us to appreciate the fragrance of the ordinary things we have ignored for so long.

When we free ourselves from the chaos enclosed in the surrounding rigid social structure, we can find peace of mind and still our hunger for knowledge and understanding. If we follow the rhythm of our heartbeat, we can quench our thirst for meaning in life and encounter an array of soothing vibrations of well-being.

While we hear Carl Jung's jazzy humming and Nietzsche's dance steps intermittently during our musings, we can willingly tear down the spread of depression from all the gray zones around us and allow the sun to shine and warm up the hearts' expectations.

The day we recognize that we must let go and drop questionable priorities in life, we understand that we must accept that we must follow our inner compass and find harmony with ourselves. Through the flow between buoyancy and acceptance, we can reach a state of awakening and enlightenment.

We are what we are: a handful of dust, and although life remains a temporal enterprise, we recognize we have a mission. Through resilience and empathy, we can take a walk on the path of thought and wonder and brighten up the hazy remains of the day. in the world.

If we feel submerged by life's inherent meaninglessness, we must create our own meaning and imbue our lives with purpose through our actions and choices.

Let us acknowledge our humble origins and the transient nature of life. By embracing our capacity for resilience and empathy, we create meaning, connect with others, and find beauty in the world.
