Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A gorse hedge at Llanddygfael When the Swedish botanist Linnaeus first saw gorse blooming on a visit to England he fell on to his knees and thanked his Maker for the wonderful sight. Here in N W Wales gorse is so common, that one hardly notices it except at this time of the year when the blossom exudes a powerful and delightful scent.
