Title
A fragment of a copper alloy Saxon small long cross brooch.
Description
English: A fragment of Early Medieval, 6th-7th century, copper alloy, Saxon small long cross brooch, AD.500-650. The brooch is corroded and consists of the head plate and arched knee, only one of the original three cruciform knops remains intact on the head. On the reverse the hinge is still present, although also badly corroded and missing the pin. Much of the foot of the brooch is missing below the knee.

The brooch is 28.66mm long, 27.54mm wide, 6.17mm thick, and weighs 7.17grams.
