Title
A flint waste flake dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age.
Description
English: A flint waste flake dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. The edge damage seems to be post-depositional and not deliberate working. It shows evidence of scars from several directions implying it is from a process of carefully shaping something larger, possibly a flint core or possibly an implement, rather than being removed in its own right as a blank for a tool. This is a pretty typical local boulder clay origin flint. Dating is very difficult but the lack of blade characteristics might just marginally push this into a Neolithic or early Bronze Age date (4th to early 2nd millennium BC).
