| Description |
English: A cricket groundsman's nightmare This estate car is stuck in deep snow at the southeast side of the cricket pitch at Huntlyburn next to the Borders General Hospital. Bizarrely, it has a set of grass cutters on tow (or more likely aeration spikes), a strange sight indeed for early January. The cricket pavilion is in the background on the far right.
I checked this out two days later and it is definitely a set of grass mowers on tow. The extreme winter weather covering most of the country has caught many people out and many vehicles have been abandoned. |
