Title
A copper alloy Late Medieval ring and looped attachments.
Description
English: A copper alloy Late Medieval ring and looped attachments. It may have been part of a sword belt fitting. The three-part assemblage has a rectangular fitting, which extends into a protruding loop which bends back on itself, finishing with a flat terminal. Attached to this is a circular ring. This is attached to another fitting with protruding loop which is intact. The plate of the fitting has two circular rivet holes for attachment one of which contains the remains of a rivet. The upper surface is decorated with a linear groove which boarders the edges of the object. The upper plate of the object terminates in a rounded arch with two side projections. The lower plate has a flat rectangular terminal. It has a light green patina and is in good condition.
