A complete pair of cast copper-alloy Roman tweezers
Description
English: A complete pair of cast copper-alloy Roman tweezers. The tweezers are formed from one strip of copper alloy folded double forming a loop at the head. The blades are rectangular in section and flare slightly towards the blunt terminals. Both blades outer surfaces are decorated with two vertical lines of short transverse grooves. These tweezers are still in working order. There are similar tweezers illustrated in Crummy (1983:58-9) figure 63.
