Description
English: A complete silver post-medieval sixpence of Elizabeth I. Dated 1574. London (Tower) mint. Eglantine initial mark both sides. Second Issue; North 1997.

Obverse description: Crowned bust left; rose behind head. Obverse inscription: ELIZA[BETH D G] ANG FR ET HI REGINA.

Reverse description: Square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the legend; date 1574 above shield. Reverse inscription: POSVI/DEV AD/[IVTORE/]M MEV (I have made God my Helper).

The coin is very worn on the obverse and there is break through three-quarters of the diameter of the coin.
