A complete Roman bone gaming counter dating from AD 50-410.
Description
English: A complete Roman bone gaming counter dating from AD 50-410. The counter is decorated with three shallow concentric rings on the upper surface, running around the the top edge are serrated V-shaped notches. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The final ring is on top of the sloping section with a central perforation on the central boss, a remnant from the lathe. Similar counter can be found in Crummy (1995:91, no. 2282). 

Dimensions: diameter: 17.67mm; thickness: 3.65mm; weight: 1.48g
