Description
English: A complete Post Medieval copper alloy coin of either Philip IV of Spain (AD 1621-1665), valuing one dinero. This is the local coinage in Valencia. The coin is worn and has been struck near the centre with a punch that has distorted the shape, making the coin concave. The edges are irregular and jagged, appearing to have cracked when initially struck.

Obverse: PHIP[]; crowned bust left.

Reverse: V[]; Lily plant.
