Description
English: A compleat Early Medieval silver Continental Sceat, series E and minted in Frisia (c. 695-700). The type is known as a VICO, Variety B, so named from the letters on the reverse (Abramson 2006).

Obverse: Shows a quilled crescent curving right enclosing four bars, no inscription.

Reverse: Central annulet within a pelleted linear border. Incription: VICO. The obverse surface appears to be abraded.
