English: A collection of five Roman Samian ware bases with potter's stamps, AD.50-250. The fragments are from the bases of a variety of vessels, Fragment 1 is likely a Drag.27 cup, as is fragment 5. The remaining three fragments all have base angles that are quite flat and small foot rigs suggesting small plates or dishes.
Fragment 1. Stamp: OFMVRAVI (The M and V are ligated as is the R and A) , La Graufesenque, South Gaulish, Potter Murranus I, AD 45-90. Dimensions: width: 78.69mm, height: 28.47mm, weight: 52.63g Frag.2: Stamp: MARTINI, Lezoux, Central Gaulish, Potter Martinus III, AD 170-200. Dimensions: width:41.03mm, height: 10.35mm, weight: 20.73g Frag.3. Stamp: CHRESIM, Montans, South Gaulish, Potter Chresimus, AD 125-150.
