Description
English: A cast lead relatively flat, circular spindle whorl, probably dating to the 15th/ 16th century AD (diameter: 31.6mm; thickness: 5.2mm; weight: 25.88g). Of slightly irregular shape with a circular hole in the centre, this artefact has eight ridged lines protruding from one side as a form of decoration. The underside is undecorated. The spindle whorl is slightly worn but in a fair condition.
