A cast copper alloy Early Medieval buckle
Description
English: A cast copper alloy Early Medieval single loop buckle, dating from 450-675. The buckle is D shape in plan. The vertical strap bar is narrowed and offset. The pin and buckle plate are missing. It is in good condition, covered in a dark green patina. It measures 23.5 mm L x 16.9 mm W x 5.8 mm TH and weighs 6.1 g.
