A cast brass belt or strap fitting.
Description
English: A cast brass belt or strap fitting. The object comprises a large oval loop. The loop has a flattened oval section. Hanging from this is a bulbous sub-oval projection which then joins to the lower loop. Set at the 90° angle is a second much smaller oval loop. The loop has a more rounded section, but slightly flattened on the edges. The smaller loop has broken. The object was probably used as part of a horse’s belt/strap fastenings.
