English: A canopy of trees. The park features a variety of species of mature trees as well as large areas that are overgrown with rhododendron. See also > 609466 and 609513
Sheringham Park, by many considered to be the finest work of the landscape designer Humphry Repton, was purchased by the National Trust in 1986. The property - encompassing altogether 20 hectares of parkland - is traversed by the main estate drive as well as by a number of marked footpaths that lead through woods and farmland, and north towards the coast and cliffs below Sheringham. |
