Summary
[edit]DescriptionA building made out of shipping containers!.jpg |
English: Stumbled across this getting back to my car in Tesco carpark!
As an old aficionado of shipping containers (...I can explain!), i immediately recognised that this building was made out of 36 long shipping containers. Ultimate added value recycling!! Loved it at first sight! Amazing how good it looks. Stunning building. When I came home and looked on google, I can see that it won lots of architecture awards 5 years ago when it was assembled. Also it is 37 shipping containers rather than 36 so the middle bit must include a re-profiled container. District 10 container office building designed by Ged Young of Aim Design Architects & some music if you like Protex - Strange obsessions www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUIkDRPa4Kk |
