Description
English: klipspringer (Oreotragus oreotragus), a small African antelope, Defying gravity on an almost vertical rock-face in the Richtersveld (one of Africas most desolate reserves). The small klipspringer is a favored animal to be hunted by American and some European hunters for its trophy (normally the stuffed head, and sometimes only for the horns). This is rather sad since the klipspringer mates for life and should a partner be lost the animal will dwell on its own until death, which might yet be from another hunters rifle.
