A Tealby type penny of Henry II
Description
English: A broken and badly damaged fragment of a silver penny of Henry II [1154-1189] a Tealby type with Cross and crosslets [1158-1180] The coin is badly mis-shaped and broken probably due to plough damage over the ages. It has no legible detail with only the Cross and crosslets being visible on the reverse.The coin has a Diameter 20.1mm,is 0.74mm thick and weighs 1.2gms.
