Summary
[edit]DescriptionA Splendid View of the North Downs - geograph.org.uk - 995136.jpg |
English: A Splendid View of the North Downs After the Medway Bridge, the Kent-bound carriageway of the M2 motorway rises above the London-bound carriageway (marked out by the lamp post in shot) and the CTRL on a very steep embankment, giving an excellent view of the dense woodland of the North Downs. I have always admired this section of motorway, but up to now have never had a decent camera to photograph it! View taken looking west-southwest from the Kent-bound carriageway of the M2, about halfway between the Medway Bridge and the junction with the A229. |
