English: 130817-N-RX668-562 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Aug. 17, 2013) Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Jonathan Howland, native of Gastonia, N.C., and a search and rescue (SAR) swimmer assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6, removes his fins after completing a SAR practice jump. HSC-6 is currently deployed with Nimitz Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
