MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (Oct. 28, 2014) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Darren Pineda, from Moreno Valley, Calif., paints the side of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19). Mesa Verde is deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, and with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU) is returning from a deployment.
