[edit]DescriptionA Rotherhithe Foundation Stone - geograph.org.uk - 1466958.jpg |
English: A Rotherhithe Foundation Stone Lists members of St Mary's Vestry in 1895 and was built into the Rotherhithe Town Hall in Lower Road junction with Neptune Street. The town hall had the foundation stone laid 17--09-1895 and was opened 28-04-1897 - no delays in those days as it was a large fine building. Partially destroyed by a German VI rocket on 13-08-1944 and totally destroyed by a second on 14-11-1944. |
