Description
English: A Post Medieval pottery rim sherd from a Martabani ware jar (1700-1800). The external surface is decorated with ribbing and rouletting. The fabric has a grey core with a red external margin. There is a yellow/green glaze on the internal surface and the upper part of the external surface. At the shoulder on the external surface the glaze changes to a deeper green. Martabani ware is made in Burma.

Dimensions: weight: 634.2g.
