Title |
A Post Medieval lead alloy toy knife |
||
Description |
English: A Post Medieval lead alloy toy knife probably dating to the 18th century. The blade is long and rounded with a small rounded projection on the tip which may not be deliberate. There is a rounded, ridged section at the junction between the blade and the handle. The handle is oval and decorated on both sides with a geometric pattern.
There is a little excess metal around the edges of this toy knife and it appears as if the two halves of the mould were not lined up exactly as there is some overlap between the two halves. Dimensions: length: 57.76mm; width: 5.56mm; thickness: 1.35mm; weight: 2.15g. |
