A Post Medieval Belt Mount (back)
Description
English: A complete copper alloy possible belt mount dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1500 - 1600). The mount is octagonal in shape with four incurved sides and four rounded knops projecting from four opposite corners. The face and reverse of the mount are flat. On the reverse there are two integral fixing pins, which have been bent over opposite sides. there is no decoration evident on the mount.

The overall dimensions are as follows: 15mm in length, 12mm in width and 1.01g in weight.
