Title
A Post-Medieval silver needle
Description
English: A Post-Medieval silver needle. The threading eye at one end, which has been flattened. The other end tapers to a rounded point. Some scratches.

November 2012- It is now thought that this item is probably a lace tag rather than a needle. A similar example was acquired by the British Museum 2008 T276 (<a href="http://www.britishmuseum.org/research/search_the_collection_database/search_object_details.aspx?objectid=3325433&partid=1&searchText=2010%2C8021.1&fromADBC=ad&toADBC=ad&numpages=10&orig=%2Fresearch%2Fsearch_the_collection_database.aspx&currentPage=1">2010,8021.1</a>) PAS ID: <a href="http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/216621">WILT-F492B5 </a>(D.
