A Post-Medieval coin: Silver half-groat of Charles I
Description
English: An incomplete post-Medieval silver halfgroat of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dating to AD 1625 to 1649. Unclear initial mark. Unclear mint. North (1991: 161) nos. 2250-2251.

The coin has a large section missing from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock on the reverse side. There is a small hole (c.2mm diameter) punched through the coin from obverse side close to central. There is also a an outward bend from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock on the obverse side.
