Summary

[edit]
Description

As the name suggests, these quails come during rainy season and are small amazing birds. The biggest one is much smaller than an adult man's fist. They are usually found in the thick grass areas looking for small insects and loitering in the grass.

They are totally invisible and hard to sight - but they have a very recognizable set of calls. Last season I was lucky to have seen so many of them mostly in the rain or during the short breaks in the rain. Hoping to see them soon again this season.

Many thanks in advance for your views and feedback. Much appreciated.
