Summary
[edit]DescriptionA Narrow Stile at Horton in Ribblesdale - geograph.org.uk - 430441.jpg |
English: A Narrow Stile at Horton in Ribblesdale This narrow opening is off the New Inn Bridge at Horton in Ribblesdale. There is also a small wooden gate on the other side above a steep stone staircase down to the river meadow. Whilst making life difficult for the walker, these features are essential to stop the sheep escaping from the field. The tree line disguises the River Ribble, which flows under the bridge on the right. |
