A Medieval seal matrix
Description
English: A complete copper alloy seal matrix dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). The seal is pointed oval or vessica shaped with an integral lug on the reverse. The obverse depicts the remains of the legend around the edge and a central motif, however the seal is very heavily worn and corroded making the obverse completely illegible.

The overall dimensions are as follows: 30.04mm in legnth, 17.87mm in width, 6.24mm in thickness and 6.25g in weight.
