Title
A Medieval lead alloy miniature annular buckle dating 13th - 14th century.
Description
English: A Medieval lead alloy miniature annular buckle dating 13th - 14th century. The circular buckle frame has a pointed oval shape cross-section with a constriction for the pin. The pin is no longer present. There is no decoration but the surface is very corroded.

Egan & Pritchard (1991:57-60) show similar sized examples that are undecorated and they note that the function is uncertain.

Dimensions: diameter: 17.76mm; thickness: 2.24mm; weight: 1.45g.
