English: A Medieval copper alloy thimble (14th century). The domed thimble has circular drilled pits arranged in lines from the peak to the base. At the peak of the thimble is a circular perforation and an incised line forms the border at the base. No maker’s mark is discernible. The copper alloy has a mid-green patina. |
