Description |
English: A Medieval cast copper alloy domed thimble with central hole (14th – 15th century). The circular pits were hand-drilled in irregular rings with care as none have completely perforated the copper alloy. There is an engraved line that forms a border between the edge and the pits. There is no maker’s mark.
